Today, we give the floor to Beya Tshibindi Beya, Junior Business Developer Intern at Hubup. Discover his journey!

Beya, could you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Beya, I’m 20 years old, and I am currently a first-year student in the Grande Ecole program at TBS Education, a Business School in Toulouse, South France.

What is your background?

After obtaining my high school diploma with a specialization in Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry, I pursued two years of preparatory class with a focus on Applied Mathematics and Economics, Sociology, and History in Vincennes near Paris, before joining TBS Education.

How did you discover Hubup?

I discovered Hubup through my school. To help us find an internship to validate our year, our internship coordinator regularly sent us many internship offers. That’s how I discovered Hubup.

What do you do on a daily basis at Hubup?

As a junior business developer, my main tasks consist of supporting the sales team, particularly through prospecting and commercial support, as well as handling more technical and operational tasks.

What is your greatest pride at Hubup?

My greatest pride? I would say finalizing and sending out a significant equipment order for Transdev for this summer…

What is your hidden talent/passion?

I’m not sure if this counts as a hidden talent, but I can raise one of my eyebrows (like Dwayne Johnson). I love football (mainly FC Barcelona because I really connect with their style of play and because Messi played there). I started playing when I was 6-7 years old until 2020.

For a little anecdote, I was fortunate enough to attend referee training with my school football team. I did several internships in this field, including one at Clairefontaine, the training center for the French national team. We were lucky to visit the facilities, including the castle, which was really impressive! We even met a referee from Ligue 1, Amaury Delerue. And to top it off, the castle had just been renovated, so we had the chance to visit it before the players did.
