The Navettes du Giffre shuttles, equipped with our ITS
A family business based in Marnaz, Haute-Savoie, Autocars Jacquet has operated the Navettes du Giffre since late 2023 on behalf of the Communauté de communes des Montagnes du Giffre: free winter shuttles running from Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval to Châtillon-sur-Cluses via Samoëns.
With the ITS, on top of real-time tracking that feeds the passenger app, drivers, many of them seasonal, get built-in GPS guidance and trip schedules: they log in in the morning and trips follow one another all day long.
