Julien Djadjoua, Business developer at Hubup
Julien, could you briefly introduce yourself?
What is your professional background?
After an unsuccessful teaching competition and a few contracts as a sports educator in local communities, I decided to shift. I pursued passenger transport through a work-study program, earning a degree at the Veolia Environment campus (formerly Transdev).
Subsequently, I spent about fifteen years in operation. During this time, I progressed from a planning agent to an operations manager overseeing around 250 drivers in groups like Transdev and Keolis.
What led to your decision to change careers?
I was fulfilled in the companies and groups where I worked, but I think I simply needed a new challenge and a new profession in a different structure.
However, I still remain connected to passenger transport, but this time, the connection is not the same.
How do you experience full-time remote work?
I also go to our offices in Paris twice a month for meetings, to spend some friendly moments, and to maintain the connection among us, which I believe is important for collective success.
Finally, being based in Arras primarily allows me to reduce distances with our clients!
What is your greatest pride at Hubup?
A big thank you to all my young colleagues in sales, development, and communication for their welcome and patience during training!
Now, it’s time to go. I’m ready to introduce our digital solutions, Operations control & PI system, training GPS, and internal communication app to operators or local authorities.
