Inès BEn hamadi

Communication assistant at Hubup

Could you briefly introduce yourself?

Today, we’re introducing you to Inès, our apprentice communications officer. Creative, curious, and always full of enthusiasm, she tells us about her inspiring journey, her daily life at Hubup, and her many passions!

I'm Inès, I'm 28 years old, and I come from a small village in Val d'Oise.
I'm currently in the second year of a Master's program in Art Direction and 360° Brand Content at ISSA Paris, doing my work-study program at Hubup. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I’d say I’m dynamic, curious, and a good listener. I love discovering new things—whether it’s software, cultures… or pastry recipes!

What is your background?

You could say my background is a bit unconventional—but that’s also what makes it so enriching today. I started with a science-focused high school diploma, then spent two years in medical school, before earning a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Sorbonne University. It was during that time—especially during the lockdown—that I had the chance to pause and reconnect with some of my passions, like photography and drawing.

Little by little, I found myself drawn to the world of communications through my work as a micro-influencer. I even took part in a podcast about Instagram and influencer culture, which sparked my desire to fully change direction. I then enrolled in a program in graphic design, illustration, and typography, before choosing to specialize in brand content by joining my current Master’s program.

How did you discover Hubup?

By chance… or rather, thanks to LinkedIn! While searching for a work-study opportunity, I came across Hubup’s job posting. I didn’t know much about the world of transportation and mobility at the time, but as I learned more about the company, its mission, and its values, I was immediately drawn in.
The idea of working as part of a team while also having autonomy and real responsibilities matched exactly what I was looking for. And I haven’t looked back since!

My daily routine is quite varied!
I manage our LinkedIn page, create and publish content, and contribute to internal communication by organizing events to strengthen team cohesion.
I also worked on the redesign of our website alongside Yann—which was an amazing experience! On top of that, I developed a full brand guidelines document for Hubup, an essential tool to ensure consistent and effective communication.

What do you like about your work?

Versatility, without a doubt! No two days are ever the same. The role touches on so many areas—graphic design, content strategy, events, writing, design…
It’s a job that allows me to express my creativity while staying grounded.
There’s a strong human and strategic dimension to it, and that’s exactly what I love about it.

What do you do on a daily basis at Hubup?

What is your biggest pride at Hubup?

Without a doubt: the website redesign and the organization of my first event, La Proximité à Chaque Arrêt. I was fully involved at every stage—from booking the venue to creating presentation materials, handling logistics, and welcoming guests. It was a truly enriching experience, and I even had the chance to interact with clients and partners. Definitely something I’m proud of!

What's a hidden talent or passion of yours?

Oh, I have so many!
I’m definitely a bit of a jack-of-all-trades—I love drawing, painting, motion design, 3D, baking… And right now, I’m even learning a new language!
That’s just my curious, always-on-the-move side—I love learning new things all the time!
